Santanna & Karmen Greene

Santanna Diane K Greene, age 11 and Karmen Jasben Greene, age 9, of Owenton, KY passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 due to injuries sustained in motor accident. Their step mother, Catherine and brothers Brayden and Jack also passed away in the same accident.

Santanna was a 4th grade student at Owen County Schools and enjoyed fishing, playing basketball, and most of all being with her family. She loved dressing up, and never missed an opportunity to do something outdoors even if it was shooting or weed eating in a dress.

Karmen was a 3rd grade student at Owen County Schools and enjoyed gymnastics, learning Tik Tok dances, and playing on her phone. She was affectionately known as 'Marvin' and never missed an opportunity to go fishing or swimming, even if it was freezing.

They will be missed by their father Jon Greene; their mom and step dad Cheyenne (Chris) Brumley Bass; their little brother Waylon Bass; their grandparents Ricky Greene, Tammy and David Brumley, and Ruth and Matt Bass; aunts and uncles Chantella, Brandon and Billy Brumley, Daniel and Rickey Greene, and Samuel and Matthew Bass; as well as cousins, Bree, Kaden, Carter, Korra Mae, Haley, Alexis, Katie, Holly, Hannah, Wyatt, Winter, McKenzi, Lucas, Natalie, Lilly as well as a host of extended friends and family.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church Life Center on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 11 AM for a visitation. Funeral service will follow at 2 PM with Bro. David Wotier presiding burial will be in the Beechwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Greene Family in care of McDonald & New Funeral Homes.
