Sandy Davis, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on June 5, 1958, in Covington, Kentucky, Sandy epitomized the essence of familial devotion and community spirit throughout her vibrant life.
Sandy dedicated her career to her role as a Supervisor at Dorman, where her industrious nature and commitment to excellence shone brightly. She was not only a steadfast leader but also a source of inspiration to her colleagues, embodying the virtues of diligence and resilience.
Sandy's heart, however, belonged not solely to her career but to those she held dear. Known affectionately as "Momma Davis," she graciously opened her heart to many, extending her love beyond biological ties. Sandy will be greatly missed by her devoted husband Harold Davis and her legacy is deeply rooted in her adoring son, Jason (Charlotte) Davis, and her beloved daughter, Bridgett (Tobin) Johnson. A proud grandmother, Sandy rejoiced in the lives of her grandchildren: Shelby, Hailey, Courtney, Jasper, Jennifer, Landon, and Danyn, who undoubtedly brought immense joy and countless memories to her life.She is also survived by her brothers, Gene Eggleston and Bruce (Mary) Eggleston, who together with her cherished children and grandchildren, form a bond that honors her memory forever. Sandy's nurturing spirit will also be remembered fondly by her several nieces and nephews who will miss her deeply. Her spirit now reunites with her beloved sister, Betty Ann Powers, and her late brother, David Eggleston, who preceded her in death.
Above all, Sandy's zest for life was reflected in her many interests. An animal lover, she held a special place in her heart for her dogs, finding companionship and joy in their presence. An adventurous soul, she embraced life with an insatiable appetite for travel, always ready to explore new horizons and create lasting memories.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Sandy will gather together to honor her life and legacy on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the New Funeral Homes in Owenton, Kentucky. The visitation will commence at 5:00 PM and conclude at 7:00 PM, providing family and friends an opportunity to celebrate a remarkable woman whose influence and warmth will endure in the hearts of many.
