Sandra Prather Salmons

Sandra Kay Prather Salmons, age 69, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Williamstown, KY.

Born July 8, 1953, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Estill and Lottie "Imogene" Groves Prather and preceded in death by her brother Larry Prather and daughter, Iva Dawn Salmons.  Sandy was a member of Greenup Fork Baptist Church and worked as a nurses aide at both the Owen County Memorial Hospital and the Owenton Manor. She enjoyed fishing and going on horse trail rides and loved sitting on her porch admiring the beautiful flowers she grew.

Sandy will be missed by her husband Harold Salmons; her children, Jeremy (Susanne) Wright, Wesley Wright, and Harold Greg (Stephanie) Salmons; grandchildren, Dylan and Madalyn Wright, Jerramy and Amelia Wright, Savannah Wright, Bryson and Taylor Salmons, and Sydney Ray.  She is also survived by her sister Judith Darlene Hunter.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Private family memorial services will be held.
