Sandra Kay Herrington

Sandra Kay Herrington, age 54 and a resident of Sparta passed away Tuesday, August 30th, at her home. Born May 23, 1957, she was the daughter of Herman Ligon (surviving) and the late Willetta Robinson Ligon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Herrington. Sandra is survived by her father, Herman Ligon, four daughters: Angela Pettit of Sparta, Tetta Hubbard of Florence, Stacy Ping of Sparta, and Megan Bramley of Sparta; two brothers: Larry and Anthony Ligon both of Warsaw; five sisters: Sheila Starks and Cindy Bickers of Sparta, Janet Ping of Warsaw, Sharon Ligon of Milton, Ky and Donna Vincent of Jeffersonville, In. Four grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be held Friday, September 2nd, from 10am until 2pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will begin Friday at 2pm with Bro. Jay Patton officiating. Burial will follow in the Warsaw Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the local SPCA.
