Sammie L. Gregory

Ms. Sammie L. Gregory, agee 95 of Georgetown and formerly of Owenton, passed away Friday, December 18, 2019, at the Dover Manor.

Born December 5, 1923, in Barbourville, KY she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Martha Gilbert Lewis and preceded in death by her daughter, Henry Ann Childers, her grandson, Christian Childers, and three sisters.

She is survived by her grandson, Steven (Melissa Young) Childers; her granddaughters, Morgan and Madison Childers and two nieces, Janice and Debbie.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at Main Street location on Thursday, January 24, 2019, from 11 am until 1 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 1 pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding.  Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to McDonald & New Funeral Homes
