Ruth Louise Bishop

Ruth Louise Perry Bishop, age 90, of Owenton, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011, at the New Horizons Medical Center. Born June 18, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Williie Orville and Minnie Pate Perry and the widow of Wallace Bishop. Her brothers, Orville, Tommy and William Perry, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Bishop was a former Nurses Assistant at the Jonesville Rest Home. Surviving are her step-daughters, Peggy bishop Ford and Janetta Keith of Owenton; five grandchildren, Aaron and Andrew Alexander and Seth Keith and Michael and Matthew David; ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Saturday, February 5th from 11am-2pm.
