Russell Wayne Trinkle

Russell Wayne Trinkle, 87, of Owenton passed away Thursday at the Owenton Manor. He was the son of the late Jefferson and Grace Totten Trinkle. He was also preceded in death by his wife; Laura May Trinkle, and his brother; Oris Omer Trinkle He was the husband of Betty J. Marston Trinkle. Russell was the former owner of Marston and Trinkle Insurance. He was also a farmer, a member of the Owenton First Christian Church, A Mason and was a WWII Navy Veteran. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son; Phillip Trinkle(Peggy)of Owenton, a step-son; Larry Tackett (Doris) of Owenton. One brother; Harold Trinkle of Indiana. Also surviving are two grandchildren; Jayme and Jesse Trinkle, two step-grandchildren; Terry and Tommy Tackett. One great-grandchild; Tara Trinkle. Four step-great grandchildren; Nolan Tackett, Shane Perkins, Casey Tackett and Matt Way. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 16th at 2pm at McDonald and New Funeral Home on Main Street. Visitation will begin at 10am. Rev. Bill Watson and Rev. Jesse Bourne will officiate the services. Donations may be made to the Owenton First Christian Church. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
