Roy C Mccormick

Roy C. McCormick, 76 of Owen County, died May 30th at the Owenton Manor. Roy was the son of the late Ernest and Anna Bramblett McCormick. He was the husband of Sarah Florence Renfro McCormick. Roy was a Farmer and a member of the Elk Lick Baptist Church. He was also a veteran. Also surviving are two sons; Barry(Thelma) and Eric(Bonnie) McCormick, both of Hesler. One daughter; Suzanne McCormick of Frankfort. One sister; Iva Gaines of Owenton. Also surviving are six grandchildren; Brandy Hall (Scottie) of Corinth, Amanda McCormick of Frankfort, Ryan McCormick (Brittany) of Beechwood, Sean McCormick of Lexington, Sarah D. McCormick of Hesler & Kasee Mattingly of Frankfort. Two great-grandchildren; Heaven Grace Hall and Kadence Faye McCormick. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8pm at the McDonald and New Funeral Home on Main Street. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 12 Noon. Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery. Rev. Gerald Summerfield will officiate the services. Donations may be made to the Elk Lick Baptist Church. Pallbearers; Billy Ellis, Don Prather, Sean McCormick, Ryan McCormick and Eddie Marsh.
