Rosie Joyce King

Rosie Joyce King, 68, passed away Monday Oct. 15 in Lexington. She was born in Gallatin County the daughter of the late Joe Bill and Alene Davis King. She was also preceded in death by her infant son James and three sisters, Emma Sue and Lillian Ann King and Debbie Hemingway. Survived are her son Bobby (Kim) King of Sparta; three brothers, Ronnie and James King both of Carrollton and Donnie King of Ghent, two sisters, Dorothy Courtney of Carrollton and Mary Bladen of Ghent. Four grandchildren, Veronica, Kathy, Cody and Bradley King and three great grandchildren, Blake Allen, Angel Nichole and Jayden Michael also survive. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 11am until the time of the service at 1pm. Burial will follow in the Robinson Family Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
