Ronald Lee Wright

Ronald Lee Wright, age 80, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence.

Born, May 11, 1938, in Owen County, he was the son of the late Clarence and Eloise  Smoot Wright.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, R.C. Wright.  Ronald was retired from the H.K.Porter factory and, for many years, owned Ron-Jo's Antiques & Collectibles with his wife. He enjoyed collecting pipes, mugs and knives and loved to dance.

Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Jo Ann Stephens Wright; his sister, Shirley Luther; several nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Main Street Funeral Home from 11am until 1 pm on Friday,February 1, 2019.  Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier.  Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to the Monterey Cemetery.
