Ronald "Shine" Lee Tabor

Ronald "Shine" Lee Tabor, age 74, of Owenton, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

Shine was born in Dayton, KY on June 21, 1950, to the late Donald Howard Tabor and Bertha Jean Waibel Tabor who survives. He served his country in the United States Army as a medic during the Vietnam War. He worked in the construction trade.

Surviving are his mother, Bertha Jean Tabor; his daughters, Kelly Tabor, Ashley Tabor, and Missy Tabor; grandchildren, McKenzie, Kaitlyn, Avery, Logan, Hannah, Dylan, Brooke, Brianna, and one on the way; great-granddaughter, Willow; and his siblings, Jerry (Darlene) Tabor, Phyllis (Carl) Terrell, Barbara Grace (Chris Fitzgerald), Timmy (Brenda) Tabor, Connie Sue (Donnie) Woodson, Pete Tabor, Daryl (Kim) Tabor, Samuel (Kelly) Tabor, Warren Tabor, Kevin Tabor, and Greg (Jessica) Tabor; and his friend Dodie.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  A memorial service will be held, at the Main Street location, on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 1 pm, with visitation beginning after 11 am.
