Ronald Cook

Ronald Cook, 67, of Owen County passed away Monday at his residence. Born April 16, 1943 in Owen County, he was the son of the late Harold Edward and Anna House Cook. He was a farmer and the owner of the former Cook’s Ashland Service Station. He was a member of New Columbus Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Veronica Warfield Cook; his son, Anthony Cook; his daughter Patricia Cook-Dietz all of Owenton; three brothers, Dwight Cook or Dry Ridge, Larry Cook of Falmouth and Harold Edward Cook, Jr. of Corinth; three sisters, Brenda Bruce of Owenton and Rhonda Hammond and Anna Brown of Corinth. Four grandchildren, Bethany Newman, LaCrista Dietz and Leslie and Alex Dietz and three great grandchildren, Layla and Grace Newman and Kiara Eubanks also survive. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location, Thursday, June 17th, from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday. Burial will be in the New Columbus Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choosing.
