Roger Dale Brophy

Roger Dale Brophy, age 65, of Frankfort, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019 at his residence.

Born July 15, 1954, in Franklin County, KY, he was the son of the late William Stewart and Anna Mae Taylor Brophy and was preceded in death by his brother, William Scott "Scotty" Brophy. Roger was a former farmer, was a member at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

Roger is survived by his sister, Patricia (Jeff) Elliston; his brothers, Jesse Franklin (Charlotte) Brophy and David Lee Brophy and a host of nieces and nephews.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 11am until 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Bro. David Smith presiding. Serving as pallbearers will be Darrell, James, and Dwayne Brophy, Mike Hopper, Jeffrey Elliston, Jeremy Dempsey and Justin Barlow. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
