Roger Lawrence Bihl

Roger Lawrence Bihl, age 80, of Owenton passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at his home. Born April 22, 1937 in Campbell County, he was the son of the late Jerome and Stella Cornett Bihl.  Roger was a chemist who developed plastic wall coverings, surgical drapes, and printing inks for many manufacturers.  He is survived by his children, Rebecca (Gerald) Waner, Rocky (Pamela) Bihl, Eric Bihl, Barbara Jean Bihl, Bethany (Steve) Sydnor and Jennifer Bihl; twelve grandchildren, Audra, Amy, Azia, Sarah, Kathryn, Aaron, Lauren, Ryan, Allison Megan, Sierra and Bronwen; four great grandchildren, Rhett, Zavier, Izaiah and Weston. His brother, Jerry Bihl also survives.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 5 - 7 pm.  Funeral services will be held at 7pm.  A private burial will be held in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
