Robin Allen Dean

Robin Allen Dean, age 59, of Sparta, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Born August 1, 1965, in Owenton, he was the son of the late Donald Wingate and Gladys Mae Hawkins Wingate. He was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Chester Ball and Mary Hawkins and David and Joyce Hawkins; his siblings, Mark Moore and Daniel Wingate; and his father-in-law, Larry Hammond. Robin loved watching NASCAR, especially his favorite driver Tony Stewart.  He was a hard worker who was employed by Fuji Auto Tech in Walton. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being a grandfather, and being on the farm tending to his chickens and goats.

He will be missed by his wife, Cindi Hammond Dean; his children, Kayla Dean and Matthew Bowling; his grandchildren, Calvin, Robin, Justin, Ace, and Serenity; his siblings, Donna Dean, Cindy (Rick) Hurley, Shirley (Elba) Walters, Carl (Mattie) Ruth, Angela (Ronnie) Hall, Tammy (Barry) Cobb, Kandee (Jesse) Terrell, Kathleen (Bill) Hancock, Anna Wingate, and Timmy Wingate; his mother-in-law, Hannah Hammond; sister-in-law, Tonya Moore; several nieces and nephews, and his beloved dogs, Smoke, Rocco, and Chester Ball.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 4 - 8 pm.  Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 pm.
