Robert Stuart Walls

Robert Stuart Walls, 93, of Worthville, died Friday, September 10th at the Owenton Manor. Born June 3, 1917, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late William and Nannie Meadows Walls and was preceded in death by his first wife Ruth Ellen Walls; his daughter, Joyce Gayle, two brothers, Tommy & George Walls and a great-grandson Randy Smith Cobb. Mr. Walls was a farmer and a retired school bus driver. He is survived by his wife, Mary “Marjorie Masters Walls of Worthville; a son, Rodney (Debbie) Walls of Worthville; three daughters, Cleta (LeVelle) Smith of Madison, IN, Marilyn (Bobby) Graves of Worthville and Shirley (Jim) Clark of Frankfort; one sister, Mildred Morgan of Hamilton, OH; seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Monday, September 13 from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday. Burial will be in the Wheatly Masonic Cemetery, with Bro. David “Milkweed” Wotier and Rev. Cecil Ellison presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
