Robert Stamper

Robert Stamper, 72, of Owenton, passed away Saturday, May 8th at his residence. Born December 14, 1937, in Jonesville, he was the son of the late Porter and Jenny Stamper and was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Hearne Stamper; son Jackie Lee Stamper and grandson J.R. Stamper. Mr. Stamper was a former mechanic for Texaco in Covington. He is survived by his son, Gerald (Brenda) Stamper of Owenton; two daughters, Charlene Stamper of Warsaw and Joyce Ann Heron of Latonia; two brothers Broadus Stamper of Latonia and Bill Stamper of Montgomery, OH; one sister Teresa Osborne of Jonesville; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. A graveside service will be held at 10am Wednesday, May 12th in the Poplar Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home
