Robert Holbrook Nixon

Robert Holbrook Nixon, age 87, of Owenton passed away Friday, September 9, 2022, at his home.

Born June 20, 1935, in New Liberty, KY, he was the son of the late Robert Grant and Evelyn Holbrook Nixon.  Bob was a graduate of Owenton High School and received his law degree from Transylvania University.  He retired from the Commonwealth of Kentucky where worked in administrative law. He was a compassionate, private man, who was dedicated to caring for his parents for many years.  Bob was also a member of Owenton First Baptist Church.

Bob is survived by a host of friends who will remember him as being generous, dependable, and loyal. His presence will be deeply missed.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Friends will be received at the Seminary Street location on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 11 am until 2 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 2pm. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
