Robert W. Gibson

Robert W. Gibson, age 58, of Owenton, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at his home. Born March 22, 1955, in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late William Riley and Mary Lou Frazier Gibson and was preceded in death by his brother Glenn Gibson. Robert was retired from FedEx. Surviving are his sons, Robert Gibson, Jr of Sparta South Carolina and John Robert Gibson of Cincinnati; his daughters, Gretta Gibson of Tampa, FL and Angie Burdge of Cincinnati; his two brothers, Marvin and Paul Gibson of Owenton and four grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Friday, February 14th from 11am until 2pm. Funeral Services will follow at 2pm with Bro. Rex Gibson presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
