Robert Lewis Ellis Iii

Robert Lewis Ellis III, 57, passed away Thursday, June 12, 202,5 in Lexington. He was born in Dayton, OH, the son of Robert Lewis Ellis, II and Linda (Vernon) Riegel Thompson, who survive. Rob worked for Yaskawa Motoman, a robotics company, for many years. He was part of regional tech support. Rob was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed listening to classic rock and country music. He was a huge fan of NASCAR and Cowboys football. Another favorite was going on side-by-side rides to West Virginia. Above all, he dearly loved his wife and family. In addition to his mother and father he is survived by his wife, Susan Miller Ellis, his three sons, Derek Ellis, Duston (Morgan) Ellis and Dylan (Brooke) Ellis, five grandchildren, Olivia, Owen, Lillian, Charlie and Kenneth Russell Ellis, two sisters, Renee (Chris) Dean and Robyn Casebier along with several nieces and nephews. No services are scheduled.
