Robert "Bobby" H. Surber

Robert H. "Bobby" Surber, age 57, of Owenton passed away Monday, January 27th. Born August 6, 1956 in Anderson, Indiana, he was the son of the late Robert L. Surber and was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe Adams and Glenn and Pat Robertson. Bobby was a farmer and a lifetime member of the NRA. Surviving are his mother, Nellie Adams Gilley of Owenton; his sister, Marna (Art Miller) Surber; his step-brother John Gilley both of Markleville, IN; his nephew, Joe (Angie) Adams; nieces Jama ( Steve) Hood and Mariah Robertson and great nieces and nephews, Alex, Austin, Olivia and Cami Adams and Macy and Grace Hood. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, January 30st from 5-8pm. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11am with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Owen County Children's Fund or the charity of ones choosing.
