Ricky Alimonos

Richard Lee "Ricky" Alimonos, age 53, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021.

Born July 8, 1967, in Frankfort, KY, he was the son of the late Ray Alimonos and Nan B. Thornton Alimonos who survives. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ray Alimonos, Jr.; his grandparents, Selvin & Dossie Thornton and Peter Angelo and Francis Jane Alimonos.   Ricky worked in the construction trade as a carpenter and attended Seeds of Love Ministry.  He loved being outdoors, spending time with family and friends.  He enjoyed boating, fishing, and being on the KY River.  Ricky also loved watching NASCAR and cheering on Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Ricky will be missed by his mother, Nan Thornton Alimonos; his son, Joshua (Tasha) Hellard; granddaughters, Taylor and Summer Hellard; siblings, Natalie Winfrey, James Ray Alimonos, Pete Junior Alimonos, and Kim Hellard.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 pm Saturday, July 10, 2021, at North Frankfort Baptist Church, with Rev. David Smith presiding.
