Rick Allen Webster

Rick Allen Webster, age 55, formerly of Owenton, passed away at his home Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Born May 26, 1961 in Owen County, he was the son of the late Walter Webster. Known as "Dink" to many of his friends and family, he never met a stranger and if he did, they were not strangers for long. Then you would become friends for life. Friends describe him as loving, sweet and would always look out for you. He loved trucks, and was a past member of the Owenton Fire Department, the Owenton Jaycees and the Oddfellows Lodge. He worked for the City of Warsaw for several years. He also worked for the Gallatin County Road Department, maintaining the roads in bad weather. Surviving are his mother, Catherine Webster; his sister, Marie Brumback; his brother Roy (Brenda) Webster and several nieces and nephews. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday, September 13th from 4-7pm. A Memorial service will follow at 7pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to the Webster family in care of the funeral home.
