Richard Wilhoite

Richard Wilhoite, 57, of Grant County passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in Grant County. Born June 2, 1957 in Owen County, he was the son of the late Milton and Doris Barber Wilhoite and was preceded in death by his siblings, Jane Sorrell, Linda Workman, Melvin and Donnie Wilhoite. Richard was a very accomplished carpenter, able to build or make anything. Surviving are his brothers, Robbie Wilhoite and Wade Wilhoite; his sisters, Gladys Garnett, Rena Sullivan, Julia Adams and Shirley Wilson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from Noon to 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Ghent Cemetery.
