Richard Allen Osborne

Owenton- Richard Allen Osborne, age 79, of Owenton, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence. Born March 3, 1932 in Kenton County, he was the son of the late Ace Porter and Evelyn White Osborne and was preceded in death also by his wife Frances Risinger Osborne and his brother, Ira Osborne. Richard was a former mechanic and worked for Mefford Hardware. Surviving are his stepchildren, Shawn, Scott and Terry Satterly and Janet Wilson; his brother, James Osborne; his sister, Shirley Riddle; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. Graveside services will be held at Noon on Saturday in the Owenton Cemetery with Bro. David “Milkweed” Wotier presiding.
