R.H. Wilson

R.H. Wilson, age 85, of Owenton, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood.

Born January 2, 1935, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Roldo Herman and Eula Kate Taylor Wilson.He was a member of the Richland Baptist Church and a lifelong farmer raising tobacco and rolling hay, he worked util he could no longer get in his truck. He enjoyed riding his four wheeler and hauled water for others for over 30 years.

R.H. is survived by his wife, Connie Switzer Wilson; his son, Kenny Wilson; his cousins, Vernus, Herbert, Bobby and Johnny Taylor as well as a host of extended family.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 4 - 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday with Bro. Tom Hall and Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to Richland Baptist Church.
