Rebecca Halfhill Doggett, born on August 8, 1965, in Owenton, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, surrounded by her beloved family. Her departure leaves a heartfelt void in the lives of those who cherished her warmth, wit, and unwavering love.
A proud graduate of Owen County High School, Rebecca was a vibrant spirit known for her playful nature and zest for life. She delighted in gently teasing family and friends, bringing laughter and lightness into every room she entered. Her flair for fashion was unmistakable, as she loved to accessorize her outfits with a unique touch that expressed her joyful personality. Becky found pleasure in word search puzzles and the social camaraderie of playing bingo, activities that reflected her sharp intellect and love for simple joys. Her fondness for a cold Diet Coke paired with cheese puffs became a charming signature of her everyday happiness.
Becky’s family was her greatest treasure. She was the daughter of Howard Halfhill and the late Ruby Parr Halfhill. She shared a close bond with her sister, Rita (Robbie, Sr.) Osborne, and was a cherished aunt to Candace (Joe) Young, Robbie (Daphne) Osborne, Jr., and Tommy Osborne. Her love extended to her great nieces and nephews—Audree Young, Bentley Young, Robbie Osborne, III, and Randie Osborne—who all felt the embrace of her loving spirit. Among those dear to her was her special friend, Russell Colson, who was a constant friend at the Owenton Manor.
Friends and family will gather to honor and celebrate Becky’s life at New Funeral Homes, located at 202 N. Main Street, Owenton, KY 40359. Visitation will be held on March 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, followed immediately by the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery with Bro. Richard Miles officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Activities Department at Owenton Manor
Becky’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and a life lived fully. She had an extraordinary gift for making those around her feel treasured and adored. Though she has left this world, the memories she created, the joy she shared, and the love she bestowed will forever endure in the hearts of all who knew her.
