Ray Douglas Alimonos

Ray Douglas Alimonos, Sr., age 71, of Frankfort, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at his residence. Born September 20, 1940, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Pete and Frances Lewis Alimonos and was preceded in death by his siblings, James, Pete Jr., Lillian, Calliope and Helen Alimonos. Mr. Alimonos was retired from Jim Beam Distilleries and was an Air Force Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Jackie Faye Tillett Alimonos; four sons, Ray Alimonos, Jr., James Alimonos, Pete Alimonos and Rick Alimonos; two daughters, Natalie Winfrey and Kim Hellard; one sister, Geneva Cummins; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, January 12th from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11am with Bro. Wade Hughes presiding. Burial will be in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Donations may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
