Rassie B. Cooke

Rassie B. Cooke, 80 of Owenton passed away on Wednesday at the New Horizon Medical Center. He was the son of the late Rassie and Viola Abbott Cooke. He was the husband of the late Zula B. Cook. Rassie was a retired Factory worker and was an Army Veteran. He is survived by three sons; Dean Cooke of Owenton, Nick Cooke of Owenton, and Marc Cooke of Owenton. Two daughters; Melinda Kaye Holbert of Lawrenceburg and Melody Ruth Cummins of Owenton. Also surviving are six brothers and sisters, twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son; Willie Cooke and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Dec. 19 at 2:00pm at the 202 N. Main Street location of McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm also at Main Street. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
