Ralph Edward Thompson

Ralph Edward Thompson, age 77 and a resident of Carrollton passed away Tuesday evening, February 2nd, at the VA Medical Center in Louisville. Born September 1932, he was the son of the late LeVoy S. Thompson and Jessie Spencer Thompson. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Genevieve Thompson Morrison. Ralph served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and more recently worked for the Northern Kentucky Senior Citizens Services in Carrollton. He is survived by his wife: Virginia Webster Thompson of Carrollton; one son: Ralph Wayne Thompson of Carrollton; one daughter: Loretta Wilson of Carrollton; two brothers: Russell Thompson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, James Thompson of Hilliard, Ohio; and one sister: Margaret Thompson Brock of Otterville, Missouri. Six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, also survive. Visitation will be held at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home-Carrollton, on Friday, February 5th, from 11am until 2pm. Funeral services will begin Friday at 2pm. Burial will follow in the English Cemetery.
