Prentice "Pete" Gordon

Prentice “Pete” Gordon, 68, passed away Sat. July 2 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center. He was born in Kenton Co. the son of the late James Prentice and Audrey Thornton Gordon. Pete was a farmer and is survived by his wife of over 47 years, Louise Mason Gordon. Also surviving are a son, Steve Gordon of Worthville, a daughter, Carla (Larry) Norris of Walton, a brother, Donald Gordon of Stewartsville, a sister, Janet L. Sebree of Independence, a half brother, Clyde Gordon of Owenton, four half sisters, Barbara Kells of Berry, Clara M. Gordon of Williamstown, Margie Webster of Carrollton, Linda Beatty of Corinth, two grandsons, Jeremy Norris and Stevie Gordon. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 6 at the McDonald and New Funeral Home on Main Street at 2:00pm. Visitation will begin at 11am Wednesday morning. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorials may be made to the St. Elizabeth Hospice Care Center.
