Phillip W. Edmondson, 71 and a resident of Warsaw, passed away Thursday at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. Phillip is the son of the late Charles Gaston Edmondson and Leenetta Henderson Edmondson. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Norman Edmondson; one sister, Judy Tolbert two brothers in law, Tom Houp and Jimmy D. Tolbert; and one sister in law, Janet Sue Edmondson. Phillip was a farmer, contract employee worker. He is survived by a son: Phillip Todd Edmondson, two daughters: Wanda Palmer (Brian) of Hagerstown, PA, and Tammy Norris (Robert) of Hillsboro, Ohio; five brothers: Charles Edmondson (Joyce) and Johnny Edmondson (Anna Louise) of Port Charlotte, FL, David Edmondson of Warsaw, Roger Edmondson (Mary) of Florence, and Jeff Edmondson of Oregon; and two sisters: Joy Houp and Beverly Anderson both of Crittenden; one sister-in-law: Della Edmondson. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and he gained pleasure when he found out his first great grand child was on the way. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 15th from 11am until 2pm, at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw Funeral services will begin at 2pm. Burial will follow in the Owenton I.O.O.F.
