Peggy Sue Robbins

June 6, 1941 — July 5, 2018

Peggy Sue Robbins, age 77, of Warsaw and formerly of Owenton, passed away, Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Gallatin Nursing & Rehab.

Born June 6, 1941, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Fanny "Todd" Dempsey Pate.  She was the widow of William Robbins and also preceded in death by her siblings, Jerry Pate and Pat Henson.  Peggy was a lifelong homemaker and loved being with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Kelly (Tim) Perkins, Gina (Gary) Brown, Jammie (Tom) Gillis and Todd (Laura) Robbins; her grandchildren, Tara, Jared and Chad Perkins, Cameron Brown, Jessica Roberts, Brandon Gillis, Atticus, Silas and Hollis Robbins; and her great-grandchildren, Amelia Miles and Case Perkins.  Also surviving, are her sisters, Marion (Marvin) Lay and June Elder.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Monday, July 9, 2018, from 11 am until 1 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 1 pm with Bro. Craig Howard presiding.  Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to Peggy's family.
