Peggy Lou Brockway

Peggy Lou Brockway, age 54, of Dry Ridge, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025, at her home.

Born on June 23, 1970, in Peoria, IL, Peggy was the cherished daughter of the late Calvin F. and Betty Ann Whittles Youmans.

Peggy who was employed by Wal-Mart had a kind soul that touched everyone who knew her. She had a deep love for angels, collecting and decorating her home with them. Peggy found joy in life's simple pleasures—tending to her beautiful yard, garden, and plants, and spending quiet moments on her deck with a cold Pepsi in hand.

A devoted wife, Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Brockway, in 2021. The two shared a passion for adventure and often rode motorcycles together, creating memories that Peggy cherished deeply. Peggy loved traveling and visiting family in Illinois and Wisconsin, where she shared laughter, stories, and heartfelt moments with those she held dear.

Peggy will be missed by her daughter Tiffany Brockway and her fiance Shane Davis; her siblings, Sandy (Gary) Partin, Bob (Gloria) Youmans, Rose (Jack) Parker, Calvin Youmans, Edward Youmans, Karen (Richard) Webb, Bessie (Steven) Percefull; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family as well as her precious dog, Cuddles.  She was preceded in death by her sister Linda Bohm.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 11 am until 1 pm. Funeral service will follow at 1 pm with Bro. Dan Houston presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home for expenses.
