Pauline Herald Suter

June 26, 1915 — February 22, 2017

Pauline Margie Herald Suter, age 101, left his earthly body on February 22, 2017 and was ushered in the very presence of God, wearing her robes of righteousness provided through her faith in Jesus Christ, her Savior. What a legacy and testimony for us to see lived out! Born June 26, 1915, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Olia Herald. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Elbert Suter; her son Kenneth Ray (Kenny) Suter; her sisters, Lela Wilson and Mabel Stephenson and her brother, Ralph Muriel Herald. Pauline was a long time active member of Dallasburg Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school, worked to revitalize the church's library, was a member of the WMU, and served in many other capacities. She was a homemaker and a member of the WNL Homemakers. Surviving are her daughter, Rita (Doug) Ball; four grandchildren, Stephanie (Terry) Dezarn, Keenan (Heidi) Suter, Jennifer Gravitt and Sarah (Matthew) David. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Jared and Shannon Dezarn, Kirsten, Raley and Hannah Suter and Lilly, Emily and Micah David along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 11am unitl 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Rev. Mark Suter and Bro. Tim Sperduto presiding. Burial will be in the Wheatley masonic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Dallasburg Baptist Church - Finish the Challenge Project.
