Paul Smith

Paul Smith, age 59, of the Greenup community passed away at his home on Friday, June 3, 2022.

Born June 25, 1962, in Owenton, he was the son of the late Paul D. and Imogene Rogers Smith.  He was preceded in death by his son, Zachary Asher; and his siblings, Jeanette Hicks, Adam Smith, and David Smith. Paul was a lifelong farmer who went fishing nearly every day and always enjoyed a cold beer.

He is survived by his children, Jeana (Michael) Cox and Brian Smith; his granddaughter, Gracelyn Cox; and his siblings, Connie Asher, Jerry Smith, John Smith, Joe Smith, Marcus Smith, and Bud Smith.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, from 1 -2 pm.  Memorial services will follow at 2 pm.
