Paul Edward Cook

Paul Edward Cook, 68, passed away Monday Feb. 13, 2017 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born September 6, 1948, in Frankfort, KY he the son of the late Chester Lee Cook and Annie B. Wright Cook of Owenton. He worked at Johnson Controls in Georgetown. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his girlfriend Margie Martin, his brother Robert C. Cook (Bonnie), three sisters, Rose Spaulding (Denny), Mary Moore and Anna Smoot (Garrett), daughters, Bonita Martin and Celina Asher and grandchildren, Sabrina and Stacie Young, Bryson and Trent Beach and Austin Asher. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded by two sisters, Carrie Taylor and Wanda Hobbs. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 11 am until 2 pm. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will follow in Monterey Cemetery and memorials may be made to Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
