Patty Cottrell

Patricia “Patty” Cottrell, 61 and a resident of Warsaw, passed away Saturday, January 9th, at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. Born April of 1948, she is the daughter of the late Robert Weldon and Ester House Weldon. Patty was employed by the Gallatin County School system and was a member of the Paint Lick Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Earl Russell Cottrell whom she married in May of 1965. Patty is also survived by a son, Robert “Robbie” Cottrell of Walton; one daughter: Juanita “Lynn” Miles of Warsaw, and one sister: Shirley Ruth Pyles of Houston Texas, and six grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5pm until 9pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will begin at 1pm on Wednesday, January 13th, at the Paint Lick Baptist Church. Bro. Denny French will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Paint Lick Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Paint Lick Baptist Church.
