Patricia "Pat" Ann True

Patricia Ann "Pat" True, age 77, of Glencoe, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 9, 2022.

Born October 28, 1944, in Monterey, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late J.B. and Mary F. Bibb Wilhoite. On July 20, 1961, she married the love of her life, Bruce True.  Together they operated True's Dairy for most of their marriage.  She was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and spoiling her family with her delicious sugar cookies.  Pat was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church where she taught the nursery class for nearly 40 years.  Pat also enjoyed fishing when she was able.

She will be deeply missed by her husband of nearly 61 years, Bruce True; her sons, John (Angie) True and Chris True; her grandchildren, Colton (Erin), Claire, Chelsey (Adam), and Emily; her great grandchildren, Noah, Kayleigh, Luke, Elise, and Hunter; as well as her brothers, Donald Wilhoite, Buddy Wilhoite, and Jerry "Fox" Wilhoite.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Poplar Grave Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 10 am until 1 pm. Funeral services will follow at 1 pm with Bro. Steve Miller officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Poplar Grove Baptist Church or Poplar Grove Cemetery.
