Patricia Lee Barnes

Patricia Lee "Patty" Barnes, age 57, of Owenton passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence.Born April 27, 1960 in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Ruby Cook Osborne and Bobby Osborne, who survives.  Patty worked for Fruit of Loom, loved cooking for others and listening to gospel music.  She also enjoyed being 'on the go'.In addition to her father, she is survived by her sisters, Regina (Dink) Roedig and Debbie Jones; her nieces Jessica Stivers and Misty Woolums and her great nieces Emma, Kaitlynn and great nephew Levi.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 11 am until 1 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 1 pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding.  Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to the Owen County Children's Fund.
