Odella Perkins Furnish

Odella Perkins Furnish, 68, of Owenton, passed away, Monday, August 4th at the Harborside Healthcare Facility. Born Jan. 5, 1940 in Owen County she was the daughter of the late Florian and Della Mae Wainscott Perkins and was preceded in death by her brothers, Curtis and Marvin Perkins and her sisters, Nannie Margaret Howard and Mildred Massie. She is survived by her husband Joe Furnish; her son, David (Kim) Furnish; her brothers, Don, Gayle and Park Perkins all of Owenton; and a host of nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes where family will receive friends at the Main Street Location on Wednesday August 6th from 4-8pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 2pm at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to Harborside Activities Fund, Owen County Friends of Animals, or Hospice of the Bluegrass. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery
