Norma "Tuddie" Woolums

Norma "Tudie" Woolums, 78 of Frankfort, formerly of Beechwood passed away on Sunday July 9, 2017 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.  Born October 28, 1938 in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late H.F. "Tibo" and Edith Greene Ellis and the widow of Lillard Woolums.  She was also preceded in death by her two sons, Donnie and Gary Woolums and her brother, Randell Ellis.  Norma was a member of the Frankfort  First Assembly of God.  She is survived by her three children, Diane Woolums of Frankfort, Vickie Woolums of Frankfort, and Wayne Woolums of Louisville; her brother, Charlie (Carol) Ellis of Owenton; her sister, Jenny (Dallas) Keith of Beechwood; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 12, 2017 at 11:00am at the Frankfort First Assembly of God Church. Visitation will begin at 9am Wednesday morning.  Visitation will also be held on Tuesday July 11, 2017 from 4-8pm at the McDonald and New Funeral Home on Main Street.Services will be conducted by Bro. Stephen Lewis and Bro. Bobby Baker.Burial will be in the Beechwood Cemetery.Donations may be made to the family for a special memorial fund.
