Norma Helen Dawson

Norma Helen Lyon Dawson passed away Thursday, November 3rd, at the age of 92. Born March 14, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Gayle and Nellie Scott Lyon. Norma was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Ray Dawson who passed away in 1999. Norma is survived by two sons: R.C. “Pete” Dawson and Raymond Lee Dawson both of the Pleasant Home community, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Saturday, November 5th from 11am until 2pm. Funeral services will begin at 2pm with Bro. Dale Adkins presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
