Nickolas Aaron Payton

Nickolas Aaron Payton, age 42, of Owenton, KY, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022, at his home.

Nick was born December 6, 1979, in Cincinnati, OH. He was the son of Mark August Payton and Cynthia (Tony) Ashcraft Vonuehm. He is preceded in death by his father Mark August Payton. Nickolas was a Mechanic for Hudnall's most of his life. He enjoyed gaming, or doing computer repairs. He also enjoyed watching drag racing or being surrounded by his family.

Nick leaves behind his wife, Sue Ann Payton; his children, Katlin (Jonathon) Prather Gaskins, Joshua Wayne Payton, Shelby Ann Payton, Jesica Marie Payton, Nickloas Payton Jr.; his brother, Marc Payton; two sisters, Alyssa Vonuehm, Amanda Payton; his mother Cynthia Ashcraft (Tony) Vonuehm; four grandchildren, Michael, Oaklie, Colt, Noah; several nieces and nephews, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church from 5 PM to 6 PM. A memorial contribution can be made to McDonald & New Funeral Homes for funeral expenses.
