Nealy "John" Warren

March 16, 1917 — March 25, 2010

Nealy “John” Warren, 93, of Frankfort, passed away Thursday March 25, 2010 at the Hospice Care Center of St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born March 16, 1917, in Indiana he was a stone mason a cattle farmer and a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Mr. Warren was also served his country during WWII in the Army. He is survived by his wife, Texia Prather Warren; his step-son Danny (Vicki) Prather; his step-daughter Shirley (Leslie) Wainscott; his brother William Warren; two sisters Laura Brockman and Martha Meiser; a step grandchild and two step great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Monday, March 29th from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1pm with Bro. Larry Adkins presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
