Naomi R. Hauser

Naomi R. Hauser, age 91, of Louisville, passed awaySunday, May 15, 2022 at Signature Healthcare in Louisville.

Born June 6, 1930, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Eva Mae Lathrem Giles.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Hauser; her daughter Donna Sue Perkins; her brothers, Ed Giles, Leon Giles, and Gene Giles, and her nephew, Tristan Giles. Naomi was retired from General Electric and enjoyed traveling, especially river cruises.  She was a member of Cloverleaf baptist Church in Louisville.

She is survived by her nieces, Carla (Marc) Duvall, Sheila (E.T.) Glass, Theresa (Sam) Giles-Long, Britni (Anthony) Compton, and Breanna (Hayden) Gregory; as well as a host of great nieces and nephews.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 11am until Noon.  Funeral services will follow at Noon with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to the Monterey Cemetery.
