Naomi Dickerson Glore

Naomi Lois Glore, age 91, of Frankfort and formerly of Owenton, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 at her home.

Born October 16, 1930, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Depuy and Alverda Holbert Dickerson.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Russell Glore and her siblings, Edmond and Claude Dickerson and Juanita Russell. She was a 1950 graduate of Owenton High School. Naomi was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and had a deep love for Jehovah God.  She worked for much of her life as a billing clerk for both Shillito's and Pogues Department Stores and enjoyedbluegrass and country music..

She will be missed by her family, who she loved dearly, Her daughter, Teresa (Dwight) Sanders; granddaughters, Jessica (Johnny) Hall and Jasmine Sanders; great grandchildren, Juliana Hall and Jaren Hall; her great-great grandson, Hudson Smith; and her brotherClayton Dickerson.

McDonald & New Funeral Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Sunday, august 28, 2022 from Noon to 2 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 2 pm with Bro. Roy Carmack presiding. Private burial will be held on Monday in the Owenton Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to World Wide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses .
