Naomi "Katy" Lynn Cornette

Naomi Lynn "Katy" Cornette 56, of New Liberty passed away at her residence on Friday, March 31st 2017. Born February 1, 1961, in Ashland, KY, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Margaret Conley Arnold. She was a retired from the Owen County School Systems as the District Technology Coordinator. Surviving are her husband Ray Cornette; her son Chris Cornett of New Liberty; three sisters, Betty Thacker (Joe) of Ashland, Linda Dyer of Ashland and Barbara McGuire (Mike) of Ashland; her brother, Charlie Arnold of Catlettsburg, KY; her sister-In-law, Cheryl (Calvin) Walke, and brother-In-law, Jim (Heather) Cornette. Also surviving are several Nieces and Nephews. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 11am. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has asks that donations be made to God's Special Little Hearts, 2145 KY Hwy 35, Sparta, KY 41086.
