Nancy Louise Howard

Nancy Louise Howard, age 48, of Owenton passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Owenton. Born March 30, 1968 in Carrollton, she was the daughter of the late Bernard King, Sr. and preceded in death by her siblings, Bernard King, Jr. and Tonya King Syarki. Nancy was a homemaker and artistic by nature, enjoying drawing, dancing and classic rock and country music. She was also known for her green thumb and ability to grown beautiful plants. Surviving are her husband, Darwin "Bud" Howard; her mother and Stepfather, Gay & Frank (Martin) Beach; her children, Ricky Clarkson, Kevin Clarkson and Samantha Schaffner; her step children, Philip Stephens, Rachael Wilson, Traci Sullivan and Daniel Howard; her brother, Patrick Wayne King and her grandson Layken Clark. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 11am until 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with burial in the Worthville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Howard family in care of the funeral home for funeral expenses.
