Monica Sue Newton (Chandler) was born to Larry D. Chandler Sr. and Betty Sue Lane on May 3, 1990 in Fort Thomas, KY. She passed away on November 21, 2025 at the age of 35 in her home surrounded by her husband, children, and family. Monica is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, James Lee Chandler, maternal grandmother, Marion Warren, and her mother in law, Erma Jean Newton.
She leaves behind her husband of 12 years, Lonney D. Newton Jr, her children, Kaylee Love Newton, Nevaeh Hope Newton, River Dale Newton, Sylvia Willow Moon Newton, and one step daughter Emily Faith Newton. All of which she loved fiercely.
She also leaves behind her Father, Larry D. Chandler Sr. of Owenton, KY., her mother Betty Crume Lane of Indiana, and nine siblings. Ivory Lee Chandler, Johnathan Wolfe Chandler, Larry Robert Chandler, Roy Dale Lane, Anthony Wayne Lane, William Dale Chandler, Joseph Franklin Chandler, Eleanora Elizabeth Chandler, and Kelley Lynn Chandler.
She will also be deeply missed by her in laws who loved her as their own. Her father in law, Dale Newton and her gained siblings, Jamaca Tucker, Mariah Newton, and Tammy Newton of Owenton, KY.
Monica grew up simple in Owenton, KY. She was raised by her father. She often played the role of helping around the home as she was a natural caretaker. She worked alongside her father in landscaping most of her life. Monica grew up to become a wonderful wife and mother to her husband and five children.
Monica was an extraordinary woman. She brought love and light to all who knew her without even trying. She was kind and quick to forgive, offering words of encouragement, wisdom, and understanding to anyone who needed it. She was a true example of light, love, and friendship in a world that all too often seems dim.
She will be remembered and missed by all large extended family and friends. Forever loved… Never forgotten.
